This venture began about eight years ago with the dream of making a resort destination for family and friends. We fell in love with the Kenai Peninsula area, and thats where our journey began. We formed a company called Funny River Family Project, LLC and purchased 17 acres of land on Funny River Road outside of Soldotna. Which started the makings of Catch’em AK RV Park, with the help of family members we started our journey. While spending the summer of 2020 working hard on the property clearing trees, cutting in roads, and hauling in tons of gravel it started the makings of the RV Park. Still in search of river frontage we came across a beautiful piece of heaven right on the Kenai River. With more hard work, sweat, tears, and dedication we now have a place where our family, friends, and guests can enjoy serene surroundings, abundance of wildlife, glacier fed lakes and rivers, and tons of fish… We call this piece of heaven our home away from home. Our guests can now enjoy lodging on the river. With hard work and dedication we have made our dream a reality to share with you, our guests.
